Pseudo

The yet to be named (YTBN) JavaScript framework has now been named. We shall call its name Pseudo.

In common parlance, the word pseudo is used to mark something as false, fraudulent, or pretending to be something it is not, as in pseudoscience or pseudophilosophy. (Wikipedia)

Psuedo is short for pseudo language. As an Internal DSL which extends JavaScript, this framework pretends to be a Rich Internet Application (RIA) language. It is actually JavaScript with a few global functions added in but hopefully you won’t notice the difference. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!
